いささめに とき まつま にぞ ひは へぬる 心ばせ をば 人に みせつつ、と 千年以上も前に 歌に使われた芭蕉は、１万年前の 雰囲気 を 今も 伝えている。マレー地域に住んだ人達は、マレーヤマバショウに生の感覚と死者の気配を感じたのでは無 いだろうか。密林の中で うっそう と繁るバショウ 群に霊の宿りを感じ、葉の生まれに出産を、その葉の 腐れに死を見たのでは無いだろうか。
